इससे भी ज़्यादा यीशु को यह विचार तड़पा देता है कि अगर वह इस दर्दनाक परीक्षा में नाकाम हुआ तो उसके प्यारे स्वर्गीय पिता की कितनी बदनामी होगी।

7. The prophet could not bear the thought that reproach would be cast on God’s name if He were to allow this kind and hospitable woman to suffer further.

नबी जानता था कि अगर यहोवा इस भली और दरियादिल स्त्री को यूँ ही उसके हाल पर छोड़ दे, तो इससे यहोवा के नाम पर कलंक लगेगा और एलिय्याह हरगिज़ नहीं चाहता था कि यहोवा का नाम बदनाम हो।
